Each Spring starting on Mother’s Day weekend the Cache Valley Farmers Market swings into action. This weekly market runs continuously through the summer and into the fall as long as the weather permits. The Cache Valley Gardeners’ Market is the longest running local farmers market in the state of Utah. This historic market is an eclectic gathering of gardeners, small farmers, artisans, bakers and food vendors that are in the local area. Each vendor bringing to market the best of local produce and assorted artisan products that Northern Utah has to offer.
Operating in the very heart of downtown Logan City, the vendors line the sidewalks of the popular Merlin Olsen Park. Each tent and booth holds a bit of the natural goodness native to the area of Cache Valley. Freshly baked breads, coffee, organic produce and eggs are just a few of the treasures you will find as you make your way through the local Farmers Market.
This family friendly event has a little something for everyone. Several dates throughout the summer this market has themes for the day where you can learn something new like the benefits of going green, or simply enjoy the local produce and goods available for purchase. During the weekends you can view demonstrations and events that coincide with the market making it an exciting day where you can learn something new and watch the locals while shopping for the weeks produce.
